The Story

AHJ-01G

Light gray, fleece lined, soft touch fabric - 97% polyester/3% spandex. Embroidered period correct artwork with red, white and blue striping.

Out of a storefront in Los Angeles on West Pico Boulevard in September 1959, American Honda began its sales activities with a tiny staff of eight. The company's lead products were the Dream, Benly, and the Honda 50, which had just made its Japanese debut. There was nothing small about the monthly sales goal, though. It was immediately set at a lofty 1,000 units.

All the artwork on this jacket pays tribute to the early branding used by American Honda from the Pico Era, starting in 1959 as it came to grips with the US market.
